My students and I enjoyed it immensely. My students got an in-depth look at what slaves actually went through. It’s far different to read about slavery in books, than to watch the actual representation of it. The actors and actresses were lively, vivid, and emotional. They helped make the play a success and instrumental to my students’ learning.
